Tucson

We spent the last few days of our trip in the Tucson area. Yesterday we visited Old Tucson which is a western movie lot that was used for hundreds of movies and tv shows until the 1980's. It is like an old ghost town. Today we took a tour of the Biosphere. It is really something to see. There is a real rain forest in there, a beach, a desert, plants, animals, machinery, living quarters and everything necessary to allow eight people to be completely self sufficient, sealed up for two and a half years.

A rainforest in Arizona. Cool!

Do you have pictures of the beach? We need a beach biosphere here.

Hey, that's a great idea. A beach in Benbrook. Then people wouldn't have to go to go all the way to Corpus Christi to see the ocean. There is a lot of empty land there where it could be built. It would stimulate the economy and increase employment. Let's use some of the bail out money to build a beach in Benbrook!

Good idea. Bailout money for a beach simulation in Benbrook. Complete with dolphins!
